Why am I doing this?

I have been in the internet marketing industry for many, many years and one thing I have learned is that as a whole marketers like myself really step up when it comes to charitable causes. I have numerous friends who have given thousands of dollars and many hours to supporting various breast cancer charities.

They do different fund raisers, walk 40 miles in breast cancer walks, create different websites and projects to support breast cancer and much more. All told they have raised well over $100,000 (and I am being very conservative with that number) for these charities. You can check out Affiliate Marketers Give Back to see more info on what some of these people are doing.So I figured I would throw my hat in the ring and see what I could do to raise money for some of these breast cancer charities. Will I raise $100,000? Probably not but even $1000 or so would be awesome.

Also on a personal level I had a friend of mine that recently died from breast cancer. She was only 40 and left behind 3 teenagers and her husband. Another friend of mine is also going through her second round of chemo and radiation for breast cancer. I am sure nearly everyone knows someone who has been affected by this disease. The more we raise for research the better we can fight!
